How it works
- Open a Session on the computer. A QR Code appears with the key inside it.
- Scan with your phone. The camera opens the upload screen; nothing to install, nothing to type.
- Download and move on. The file is decrypted here and removed from the server the moment it finishes.

The Session lasts 15 minutes and accepts one file. It ends on download or on the clock — in both cases the file is deleted.

Works in the browser you already have open, even on a computer that is not yours. No app, no extension, no account.
Asks nothing from you
No email, no password, no name. Access is an Invite, and the Invite is the only durable record that exists.

Who it's for
- Shared workstation. You need the PDF on your phone on the room computer — without signing into your Drive, WhatsApp, or email on a machine that is not yours.
- Screenshot or photo of a document. The image you just took needs to be attached in a system that only opens on the computer.
- A file that should not linger. Exam, contract, receipt: it passes through, gets used, and does not remain in any chat history.
- Several computers, no new password. An authorized phone unlocks the next computer by verifying four digits.

Frequently asked questions
How do I get an Invite?
Everyone who joins gets a few Invites to pass on. If someone told you about TempDrop, asking them for a link is the fastest path. If you arrived on your own, email us — we reply one by one.
Can you see my files?
No. Encryption happens on your phone, and the E2E key travels in the QR Code URL fragment — the part browsers never send in a request. The server holds an encrypted envelope for a few minutes, with no readable name or type.
Why does the Session last only 15 minutes?
Because the product is a cable, not a cabinet. Fifteen minutes is enough to move from phone to computer; after that the file is deleted, with or without download.
What is the maximum file size?
95 MB per file. The limit is not commercial: encryption authenticates the whole file at once, so it passes through the phone's memory in one piece.
Do I need to create anything to use it? What about canceling Pro?
Today there is no account, password, or subscription — so nothing to cancel. If Pro launches, cancellation will be self-service, with no penalty, keeping access through the paid period. Until that is ready, the plan will not be sold.
Does it work the other way, from computer to phone?
Not today. A Session is opened by the computer that receives, and accepts one file from the phone. If you need the reverse, write to us — that kind of request changes the queue.

TempDrop is Invite-only, not open signup: scarce Invites are what keep abuse down without asking for your data. Everyone who joins gets a few to distribute.
